The 3-star Ideal Beach Resort Mahabalipuram is merely a 6-minute stroll from Sun Land Beach Resort and features car rentals for guests' convenience. This Mahabalipuram resort lies in the Mahabalipuram Beach district of Mahabalipuram, 3.7 km from such cultural sights as the intricately carved stone Descent Of The Ganges Sculpture.
A private beach is only 500 metres from the hotel, while the towered Shore Temple is nearly a 10-minute drive away. The historic Pancha Rathas Temples stands approximately a 15-minute ride from the Ideal Mahabalipuram. Also, the accommodation is only 1.2 km from the rock cut temple "Tiger Cave", and Velachery train station is located 36 km away. During my recent stay at the Ideal, I was genuinely impressed by how the resort exceeded my already high expectations. The air-conditioned sea view room was not only spacious, but also equipped with a flat-screen TV and a well-stocked mini-bar, which enhanced our comfort and relaxation. I particularly appreciated the clean and well-maintained private beach area, complete with comfortable chairs and huts for shade, making it a perfect spot for unwinding. The excellence of the dining experience was highlighted by the elaborate breakfast buffet, offering a wide array of delicious options that catered to diverse tastes.
